Percentage is wrong
I'm trying to get a percentage increase on a dollar amount but the totals are
not correct. $30 is target. +$U$2-D5 is Formula (10%) $33.33 answer |

Percentage is wrong
$30 is 10% less than $33.33
If you want 10% more than $30, it is $30*(1+10%), in other words $33 It is the same situation as the fact that doubling something adds 100%, but halving something subtracts 50%. -- David Biddulph "Scott" wrote in message ... Thank you very much I thought to much about the formula rather than the
math.
