Default ratio function

I have Labor Cost in H9 and Material Cost in I9 I want J9 to show them as a
ratio of 100. Such as $1,000 labor and $2,010 material would equal 33:67....
Please help!!!

Try this:

=H9/(H9+I9)

Format as a percentage.

Pl put following formula in cell J9

=ROUND(100*H9/(H9+I9),0)&":"&100-ROUND(100*H9/(H9+I9),0)

=ROUND(H9/SUM(H9:I9)*100,0)&":"&ROUND(I9/SUM(H9:I9)*100,0)

=TEXT(H9/(H9+I9)%,"0")&":"&TEXT(I9/(H9+I9)%,"0")

or if you can live with a slash "/" and if H9<=I9:

=TEXT(H9/I9,"0/"&ROUND(I9/(H9+I9)%,0))
