Default In Excel, lists should be sorted.

In Excel, often, I create a list (Data, List), and the data is linked to
another source.

I suggest that when creating the list, one has the option of sorting it by
specific criteria.

If you look at the list tool toolbar there is a dropdown named List, there
is an option to sort
