Worksheet freezes on Data>Subtotal
I have a workbook of 10Mb. When attempting to Subtotal a relatively
small range (only 60r x 19c) a grey patch appears in the centre of the worksheet and the worksheet freezes. What could be the problem and the solution(s).The subtotals are for 4 cols.(The DataSort however works fine). Using XP Professional 2002 on Intel 4 1.8Gh, 256Mb (problem also apparent on another machine 2.4Gh 512Mb). At wit's end. Thank you |

I deleted all other worksheets. The problem perists even on
just one worksheet. RobertR |

Problem does not seem to exist when I launched
Excel from another icon (for some reason my PC has 3 icons for Excel). RobertR |
