Default Time Format

How do I enter race times that are to the hundredth of a second? hh:mm:ss.xx
I then wish to multiply the time by a factor of 1.25 resulting in a new time
rounded to hh:mm:ss.00

Format the cell(s) as

Format/Cells/Number/Custom hh:mm:ss.00

then enter your times.

in a second cell, enter

=ROUND(1.25*A1*8640000,0)/8640000

and format it as above
