"^" character in formula?
In a formula like =A1^2 the caret (^) means 'raised to the power)
So if A1 has value 3, A1^2 is 3² which equals 9 best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "Jim" wrote in message ... Would someone tell me what the "^" character represents in a formula? Thank you!! |
