We are preparing a spreadsheet that needs to have a running monthly average.
For example, the last quarter of 2008, I need a formula that will average all September, then October, November, etc. Since I do not have any totals for December, I set up a formula for Sept thru Oct, then change it to add Nov, and will add the cells for December. Is there any way to set up a formula to average my months even though my December numbers are not available without having to update the formula each month? Thank you!! |

But you need to convey more information - describe the layout of your worksheet (what cells are used for data entry) and what formula are you using?
