I am a newbie to Excel. I've been trying to convert figures into words on Microsft Excel. While browsing i got the code below from Microsoft. But the problem is that it converts Numbers into Dollars and Cents. I just want it to convert it to words, i.e, 456 = Four hundred and fifty-six... Please edit the codes below so that i get the desired result... Thanks Option Explicit 'Main Function Function SpellNumber(ByVal MyNumber) Dim Dollars, Cents, Temp Dim DecimalPlace, Count ReDim Place(9) As String Place(2) = " Thousand " Place(3) = " Million " Place(4) = " Billion " Place(5) = " Trillion " ' String representation of amount. Hi,
Alternatively, just download the morefunc add-in, and use the =NBTEXT() function. Dave url:http://www.ureader.com/msg/104242335.aspx |
