Default Formatting an entire row based on one cell

If the value in Column 6 of a specific row is equal to 1, I would like to
highlight that entire row... I'm having trouble with the "row" function of
the formula.
Any ideas?

Will this work:

Highlight the applicable columns, choose Conditional Formatting, select
'Formula Is' and enter

=countif($F1,1)=1

and choose a color. This should highlight the applicable row if the cell in
column F has 1 in it.

Perhaps this would also work as well ..

Press CTRL+A to select the entire sheet
(the initial selection step is important in CF)

Click Fornat Conditional Formatting

Under Condition1

Formula Is | =$F1=1
(note the "$" sign above)

Click Format Patterns tab Gray? OK

Click OK at the main dialog

Now test it out by inputting 1's within any/several cells in col F,
and the entire row(s) will be filled gray ..
