Default navigate in Excel worksheet without scrolling

Can you navigate in an Excel worksheet without scrolling? My datafile is very
long and I'd like to go from last names starting with A to names starting M.

Hi

You could select the whole column and do a Find (Ctrl F) for M* with
'Find Entire Cells Only' selected.

One quick way to get where you want is to:

1)Select the column with the names.

2)Press [Ctrl]+F. (or EditFind)

3)Enter the beginning of what you're looking for followed by and asterisk:
Example: Names beginning with G would be entered G*

4)Click the box to "Match entire contents of cell"

5)Click OK

Excel will bring you to the 1st name beginning with G.

I hope that helps.

Regards,
Ron
