Counting Worksheet Data
 

I am using Excel 2003.

I created an excel worksheet with 6 questions that we use to audit charts.
There are 3 options for each question using drop down option; complete,
incomplete, and N/A. I would like to know if it is possible to have excel
count how many completes, inompletes, and N/As so I can calculate compliance
statistics. Below is a small sample of my worksheet:

MR NUMBER VERIFICATION TOTAL TRANSFUSION REACTION
XXXXXX Complete Complete Complete
XXXXXX Complete Complete Complete
XXXXXX Complete Incomplete Incomplete
XXXXXX Complete Complete Complete
XXXXXX Complete N/A N/A
XXXXXX Complete N/A N/A
Complete
Incomplete
N/A

Just use

=COUNTIF(B:D,"Complete")

etc.
