Compounded formula using SUM & AVERAGE
How do I sum the difference between two date ranges and get a total average
of those days |
Hi
not sure what you're after here but one idea say you have .............A..................B................. .C 1.......Date............Amount 2......1-Jan-05........500 3......1-Mar-05........20 which means you've sold 480 units over the period 1 Jan to 1 Mar and you want to know the average number of items you sold per day then the formula would be =(B2-B3)/(A3-A2) formatted as a number if this isn't what you've after could you maybe type out an example or two of what you have and what you're looking for (but please don't attach a workbook) -- Cheers JulieD check out www.hcts.net.au/tipsandtricks.htm ....well i'm working on it anyway "WIZPRO" wrote in message ...
