Default Special editing

When using Excel 2003, I could fill blank cells in a column with contents
from a preceeding cell using the Edit menu. Specifically, after selecting
the range then on the Edit menu i would click Goto/Special/BlanksOK. Then
enter first cell address in selected range (ie =a1) and press CTRL+ENTER.
This would fill the balnk cells with the content of the preceeding cell. How
is this done in Excel 2007?
