Column A corresponds to days of the month (A1-A31). Column B contains a
corresponding lab result that is entered 3 to 4 times a week. Some days the test ing is not done so some cells are empty. Sometimes the result is entered as a less than 2 value (<2). This value needs to be calculated as if it were = 2 (i.e.<2=2). I need to show the the maximum of these weekly averages at the bottom of my sheet. I do not want an extra column showing the weekly averages on my spreadsheet. Two weeks of the sheet looks like this: 1 2 2 2 3 4 5 6 <2 7 8 6 9 10 2 11 12 <2 13 14 2 The Answer = 3 (for this two week period the average weekly max in week 1 was 2 and in week 2 it was 3) -- JD |
