Excel Formula using colors
A while ago, I was able to write a formula that allowed me to use the "if"
function to format a cell a specified color. If the condition of the if statement was met, the cell that contained the formula would turn the designated color. I have no used this formula in a long time and can't recall how to make it work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

You'll find that option under Formatting-Conditional formatting.
In the first drop-down select "Formula Is..." and then enter your IF formula in the editing box. Click on the Format button and select the options to apply when the formula is TRUE "Powell" wrote: A while ago, I was able to write a formula that allowed me to use the "if" function to format a cell a specified color.
