Hi,
I have a sheet ("January") in which some cells are colored with particular color, i would like to know if exists a method how to detect these particular cells and to count their number ? (if possible without using VBA). thanks, Maileen |

If cells are colored due to Conditional Fornmtting, you could count using the same crirerion(a) that CF uses. If not CF-colored, Bob's VBA is the only way to go.
