This one is a tough one and I have no idea where to start.
I have a sheet full of application names and versions. Many are the same names and different versions. I need to figure out for the same 'partial' name, such as "McAfee VirusScan" what versions are on the sheet, and how many of each version. There are thousands of items so I will not know what all the possible versions are so I'd like to do this problematically. Anyone do this before and have some example code or formulas? thx! |
