Default Track Changes in Excel

I want to use the track changes function, but the amount of text typed into
the cell is too much for the tracked changes box to hold so instead of being
able to view the changes I end up with...and it isn't really helpful. I've
used the record changes feature in openoffice and it' box expands to allow
all the changed info to be viewed. How can I get the tracked changes box in
Excel to show me everything?
