averages on grades, how to input formula when it has a percentage
I need to figure out a formula to be able to use a grade and a percentage of
a grade to create points example: grade 80-weight 2% -Points1.6 So I need a formula that can give me the amount of points I would receive if my grade was 100 the percentage is 2% to equal the amount of points it would be. any help would be most gracious |

Your post is a little confusing, but it sounds to me like you just want:
80*.02=1.6 or 100*.02=2 You just need to multiply your grade by the weight, and that will give you the number of points it is worth out of 100 points.
