Default Import from Text dropping rows from .csv

I generate multiple reports from a program in different directories in .csv
format. I can open these files individually then copy and paste to Excel
2007. However, I set them up to Import using the "From Text" wizard and
while it appears to work - it drops some rows out of the file on import.

I then tried to use the Connections wizard, which did the same thing. What
could be causing the import function to reject rows, without any error
messages, that a copy and paste accepts?

These files might have a few thousand rows, most are a few hundred, and they
only go out to column Q.
