Default Command Button Shades annoying

HI
I have a workbook that I created with 8 sheets. I Have 8 command buttons
across the top. When clicking through these some of the previous buttons are
left with a diagonal shading. Sometimes to get rid of these I need to click
away.

I am running Excell 2003

Can anyone help

Im not really sure what you are referring to here, but if you right-click
those control Buttons, and then click €˜Properties, you will see three
options:
Move and size with cells
Move but dont size with cells
Dont move or size with cells

Choose the appropriate option for your specific needs; try each and see what
kinds of difference it makes as you are building sheets with your macro€¦
