Default formula for changing a percentage

In cell A2 is .0400
Cell B1 has a number of 20.33
Cell B1 and B2 (a formula also) are added together......to be multiplied by
amt in Cell A2
Cell B5 is fixed at 21.52
Cell B4 adds B1, B2, B3
Can you tell a Cell that if B4 exceeds B5, change A2 to the proper % to
reflect in Cell B3 when added with B1 and B2 it will not exceed B5.

Hi,

You could use 'Goal seek'

Select B4 then

Tools|Goal Seek

in the 'To Value' box enter the value in B5
in the 'By changing cell' box enter A2
Click OK
