Cell Formats
I have been trying to enter 01-63 as an exaple and it always changes it into
a date like jan-63. I have tried everything i can think of to fix it. Any suggestions please let me know |

formatt the cells (or columns) you will be entering the data into as 'text'

Enter it with an apostrophe in front, i.e.
'01-63 and Excel will take this as a text value (the apostrophe will not show in the cell). Alternatively, pre-format the cell as Text beforehand, and then you can enter it as 01-63. Hope this helps. Two choices:
Either precede your entry with an apostrophe '. The apostrophe will not show in the cell, only the formula bar.
