FIND and dates
I have several large spreadsheets in 2007, each containing many columns of
numbers, dates, and text. When I hit CTRL F and type either a number or text in the box, it's found immediately. When I try dates, "...cannot find the data..." pops up. Date is currently formatted as 30-Jun-08. What do I need to do to make dates able to be found (short of changing the date presentation on the sheet)? Thanks! |

You have to change the Options in the Find dialog box to Look In "Values" to find dates. |
