Default multiple subtotals

is there a way to subtotal at mutliple levels? for example:

dept rep account total
fin me a 2
fin me b 3
hq you c 4
hq you d 5
hq you e 6

what i would like to do is have a subtotal for each change in dept, another
subtotal grouping for each change in rep, and a final subtotal grouping for
each change in account. is this possible? if it has to be done via vba, any
ideas on what the code should look like?

Have you tried doing this in a Pivot Table?
