Default Excel changes HDA to HAD

When I am in a spreadsheet, I have tried typing in HDA into a cell. When I
hit enter, it is automatically changed to HAD. I've even tried changing the
spell check to ignore words in capital letters, but it still changes. I've
also tried putting the ' before it, still changes. Please help

Thank you!

In xl2003 menus:
Tools|Autocorrect options|Autocorrect tab

Remove the HDA entry.

Be aware that this autocorrect list is shared by other programs in the Office
suite.

If you don't want to change the autocorrect entry as Dave suggests, you
can always type CTRL-z to undo the autocorrect.

This is part of the AutoCorrect Options.

Goto Tools | Options | Spelling (tab).
Click AutoCorrect Options (button)

You can scroll down the list and remove the "hda" line if you wish.

or, you could just check the box for "Ignore words in UPPERCASE".

HTH,
Paul
