Default Compare Columns

Is there a formula the counts the number of matches between two columns for
the same row? For instance

2 1
3 3
5 3
1 3
2 2
5 3
5 2
4 5
5 3
3 1
5 2
5 3
4 3
2 2
2 2
5 2
4 4
2 2
5 4
2 1

The formula should say 6 because there are matches in rows 2,5,14,15,17,18

Try

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A20=B1:B20))
