Yes, the formula in my destination worksheet referred to a named range in the
lookup worksheet. I had not updated the lookup worksheet on the new PC with the named range, which is why I was getting the error. As soon as I named the range in the lookup file all worked OK. Basic different file version error. :-( "ryguy7272" wrote: Oh, yes, that is different! Did you resolve the issue? -- RyGuy "Code Numpty" wrote: Thanks Ryan, My problem was a different one. The reference file that I had already copied to C:\Masters was lacking a named range and this was causing a non-rectangular name definition problem. My user name is not Numpty for nothing! "ryguy7272" wrote: I encountered a VERY similar issue just yesterday. See this site: http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0003.htm Run the cose from a module and look at the results in the 'Immediate Window'. If you don't have the Immediate Window open, click View Immediate Window in the Visual Basic Editor. Look at the results. Find your drive. That is called the UNC Path. I have specified the other files all be in a folder directly on the C: drive, C:\Masters. When I distribute the file to another PC the file location changes. Is there any way for it to stay exactly as input, whereverthe final file is saved as a file or template? |
