Good evening folk.

Requirement is to have a concatenated string representing an 8 character
(alphanumeric) ITEM CODE based on a combination of characters which actually
denote a dynamic combination formation based on a heirarchial setup of MAJOR
CATEGORY-NEXT LEVEL1-NEXT LEVEL2.


MAJOR CATEGORY - There is a unique list of values (alphabetic - 2 char)

NEXT LEVEL1 - There is a dependent value set for every single value in MAJOR
CATEGORY (alphanumeric - o to 2 char )

NEXT LEVEL2 - There is a dependent value set for every combination of MAJOR
CATEGORY & NEXT LEVEL1 (alphanumeric - 0 to 2 char)

RUNNING NUMBER - This is the next number in a running sequence starting from
01 and going upto 99. (2 numeric)


This code of 8 characters long must evolve dynamically as and when i drill
down from MAJOR to NEXT LEVEL2 thru a COMBO BOX or Even a
DATA-VALIDATION-LIST...

This thing must be dynamic enough to allow me to release it to endusers to
add values to the three value sets without actually being allowed to get into
the backend!!!
