Default Negative numbers in resulting formula

Yep, just add "*-1" to the end of your formula

One approach is to type negative 1 "-1" without the quotes somewhere in
your
worksheet. Copy that cell, then highlight your entire result range, paste
special multiply.

I have two long formulas each of which produce a negative number as the
result. Using those two numbers in another formula I get a positive
number,
which is not what I want. What can I do to have the result remain a
negative
number?
