I have a VLOOKUP formula and I am trying to use AutoFill to copy it down the
spreadsheet. If I look in each cell it looks like it copied the formula correctly as it changes the cell numbers for the new rows but it does not bring in the correct information, it enters a copy of what is in the original cell. Any suggestions? Sparkie |

You may have to set ToolsOptionsCalculation tab, to Automatic.
Are you sure you want the addresses of the Lookup Table to change as well? If not, change A1 to $A$1 etc -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Sparkie" wrote in message ... |I have a VLOOKUP formula and I am trying to use AutoFill to copy it down the | spreadsheet. Can you please paste the formula here? It will be easier to understand the

It would be much easier to help you if you showed the formula you were using.
But are you adding $ signs around the table_array? Do you have the findings set to FALSE? "Sparkie" wrote: I have a VLOOKUP formula and I am trying to use AutoFill to copy it down the spreadsheet. Niek,
Thank you so much. Changing the calculation to automatic is exactly what I needed to do. "Niek Otten" wrote: You may have to set ToolsOptionsCalculation tab, to Automatic.
