For noremal numbers, medium & small, make sure the format is not scientific:
Format Cells... If you type 12 and the cell shows:

Click on the the Format option in the top toolbar (in xl2003 and below)
Then click on Cell Then click on the Number tab Choose Number from the category on the left hand side. Number, and zero decimal places, if that's what you want, and make sure that
