Default List function?

I am using a Lotus Notes Excel form/applet/whatever you want to call it
within Lotus Notes and I am limited to what I can do. There is no data
validation option or list options.

What I would like is a simple drop down for one word, 'received'. Seems kind
of lazy, yes, but it does save a lot of time.

Is there something I could do, a function, to get a drop down box with
'received' in the drop down?

I have a feeling it is not, but I have always been surprised on here.

I want to stress that there are no menu options within this Excel Form in
Lotus Notes. You can write furmulas, but you can't select a data box, then
validation, or something like that. ... unless, of course, you know how to.

Thank you.
