Default Cell Borders

Now that I am able to add borders to cells in a field, how can I edit borders
( thickness, color, etc.)?

Default Cell Borders

Select the cell(s) then Format | Cells | Border tab, then you can
choose thickness and colour from there.

Hope this helps.
