New here so I'm not sure if this deals w/ functions or not.
I have positive and negative figures in one column and what I want to do is have excel auto fill a new column with certain IF/THEN type of responses but also have it auto format those responses depending on what they are. If the number is positive I want it to fill the new cell with the word "UP" and color the cell green. If it is negative I want it to fill the new cell with "DOWN" and color the cell red. If the number is 0 then I want it to fill the new cell with "NONE" and color the cell orange. Can Excel do this and if so, then how? I'm manually doing it now but would love for it to become automated. Thanks. |
