The more you explain the issue, the more help you will receive. I, for one,
don't know what you are referring to here. Please provide more info.

Default link data to worksheets

I have one workbook with 4 sheets labelled "Master" with Products 1,2 & 3
data being tracked, then sheets "Product 1" ,"Product 2", "Product 3". Data on
Master has info for all three but I want to link the line items to summarized
individually from Master sheet to individual sheets as I'm entrering the data
on Master sheet only.

Hummm, well, I think the most obvious answer is probably the correct
one...link the sheets with "=". Read this document for information:

Hope that helps. Post back if you need more info.

Ryan,
We're getting there, what I'm trying to do is similar but reverse. I want to
enter all data for 3 products on Master sheet and then have the data from
that sheet link to individual sheets based on Product 1 info on Master sheet
to Product 1 sheet , Product 2 on Master sheet to Product 2 sheet ...

I appreciate your input.

Thanks
John

Default link data to worksheets

Type the '=' on the keyboard and then click on the tab of the sheet that you
want to link to then click the specific cell on the sheet that you want to
link to.

Default link data to worksheets

I'll try explaining a different way:

Source Data/Master worksheet:

Item Date Ref # Issue Sent
back to

Product #1 Jan 10 Ser # 123 Bad Paint job ABC Paint
Product #3 Jan 9 Ser # 456 Metal is bent Metal Co
Product #2 Jan 12 Part #987 Wiring Malfuc Elect Co
Product #3 Jan 12 Part #998 Wiring shorted Elect Co

What I'm trying to do is have the Source Data worksheet/Master sheet
transfer/link
the ROW data based on ITEM or COLUMN #1 to individual worksheets Poduct #1,
then another sheet Product #2 ...

This way I can enter data on one sheet but be able to track/review issues
product by individual product

Any ideas would be greatly welcomed!!

Thanks
John
