I am trying to copy data from several spreadsheets into one large spreadsheet
and keep on getting the message that the copy and past areas are not the same size. All info has the same number of columns and there are no hidden rows or columns. I am manually choosing the data to copy, not using the upper left cell to choose the whole sheet. This is about to drive me crazy! And I can't figure out what to do! I haven't made any changes to my settings. Any ideas? |

Do you have any merged cells either in the copied block or in the
destination block? If so, you will get this error. Do you need to have the cells merged? One way around it is to highlight the destination block before the paste operation, so if you have a source block of say 10 cells across by 7 rows, highlight the same size block in the destination sheet and then click <paste. Hope this helps. Any merged cells in the copy or paste areas?
They can sometimes cause problems of this nature.
