I have an employee weekly schedule and have set up 52 weeks (worksheets). I
have the schedule set up to copy from the previous week.

The conditional format is if the value of a cell is < 0, I want the cell to
format to gray pattern. It does format gray but it puts in .00. I do not want
a 0 or a dash - just for the cell to be gray. Can I do this?

Conditional Formatting IS working
The zero display is not part of Cond Formatting
Have you tried Tools | Options | Views - in lower part of dialog look for
Window Options and uncheck Zeros Values

Your original requirement was to hide if <0

Bernard's suggestion to uncheck "zero values" won't do that.

That won't hide values that are <0 but are formatted to show 0

How about you also set the font color to gray?
