Default cell formatting

is there a way to take an area of about 10 rows and change the cell height to
0.1 so that there are now 100 rows in the original area?

Highlight your rows, right click and change the row-height, whether or not
this gets 100 to fit on your page has to do with your display though.

If I right click on a row title and select Row Height from the popup menu, I
see that my row heights are set at 14.1 (some units, I will no bother with
right now).
If I select 100 rows; right click the row header and again select Row Height
I could set the row height for these rows to 1.41. Now 100 rows occupy the
space that 10 rows used before. However, they are so small I cannot read
anything in them.
But I must have misinterpreted your question. Tell us again what you want to
do.

You wouldn't change the cell height to 0.1, you would take the current cell
height of a single cell (which I'm guessing is the same for all rows) and
multiply that height by 0.01 in order to get the height each cell needs to
be in order that 100 rows of them would fit in the area that 10 rows now
occupy. John gave you a method to do this with in his posting to this
thread. My question, though, is why are you doing this? I mean, the rows
will be so short that you won't be able to see anything in them.

I guess thats what i am asking, but when u get that small the rows disappear.
I dont think I'll be able to do what I actually want to do. Thanks though

You wouldn't change the cell height to 0.1, you would take the current

Although from your follow up post to Bernard, you no longer need this, I
figured I'd correct my posting anyway... the 0.01 above should have been 0.1
to meet the conditions you set in your message.
