Current date in the comment instead of the user ID
Though the subject explains the question, I would still like to elaborate on
what i need. The comment that we enter in the cell, it has your windows login ID by default. I want the comment to have today's date by default instead of the user ID. Possible? |

By default you cannot have the date in a Comment.
To insert a Comment with date see Debra Dalgleish's site for code. http://www.contextures.on.ca/xlcomments03.html#DateTime Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 22 Oct 2007 15:38:28 -0600, "Gary" wrote: Though the subject explains the question, I would still like to elaborate on what i need.
