What happens when you try and how are you doing the operation?

Have you tried InsertPicture?

Hi Gord Dibben

I simply right click on the photo and then go to a excel spredsheet right
click in it and want to paste. But the paste and special paste is greyed out,
in execl 2000 it was possible, the insert file and then photo option work,
but i am working with a bunch of lazy guys here at work and they want to use
the short way.

Thanks Danie

And the photo to copy is open in which application?

Or are you trying to select the file and copy then paste?

That won't work in newer versions and would not have worked in 2000 either.

Hi Gord Dibben

If you open the photo with paint and select all, you can paste it in excel.
Any other application that is saved in you can't paste. I believe in excel
2000 it was posibble , that is what the guys told me you can do. I will
tomorrow find a machine with ececl 2000 on , and test it. Thank you so far
for your response.

That's what I was getting at.........photo must be open in a graphics
application like Paint before you can copy and paste.

I have 4 or 5 graphics editors and any one of them will work for that method of
copy/paste into Excel 2003.
