Default Using excel display a roster as hourly coverage in units

Its difficult to determine exactly what your problem is. However, I preume
the problem may be that you run multiple rosters. If this is the case, why
not chart your day in time increments to suit along the x axis and use a
stacked chart to display the numbers of staff provided by each roster.

This is a really effective technique if you chart it in front of an area
chart of workload demand.
