Default Can a cell defined by a formula become an exportable numeric valu.

I have a worksheet where I have calculated many cell values from formulas
based on other cells. However, I want to export these calculations to another
worksheet so that I can compare them with other calculations. When I try to
export this information it all becomes error symbols because the cells on
which the formulas depend are absent. Is there a way to avoid this problem

Hi Kate,

By export do you mean copying the calculation? or Do you just want the cells
to show the Value?

If it is the second option then you could just simply type = in the cell of
your worksheet where you want the value to be and click on the worksheet and
cell where you calculation is.

Hope this helps,

Gav.

Default Can a cell defined by a formula become an exportable numeric v

Hi Gav-

Thank you. However I still have a follow up question.
It was indeed the second issue that I was having trouble with. Your
technique works, however I need to sort the data that is in the collumn of
cells showing the numeric values. When they are still = to another cell, they
are still in a formula and won't be sorted.
Any advice??
