I have a worksheet where I have calculated many cell values from formulas
based on other cells. However, I want to export these calculations to another worksheet so that I can compare them with other calculations. When I try to export this information it all becomes error symbols because the cells on which the formulas depend are absent. Is there a way to avoid this problem |

Hi Kate,
By export do you mean copying the calculation? or Do you just want the cells to show the Value? If it is the second option then you could just simply type = in the cell of your worksheet where you want the value to be and click on the worksheet and cell where you calculation is. Hope this helps, Gav. "kate" wrote: I have a worksheet where I have calculated many cell values from formulas based on other cells. Hi Gav-
Thank you. However I still have a follow up question. It was indeed the second issue that I was having trouble with. Your technique works, however I need to sort the data that is in the collumn of cells showing the numeric values. When they are still = to another cell, they are still in a formula and won't be sorted. Any advice?? -Kate "Gav123" wrote: Hi Kate, By export do you mean copying the calculation? or Do you just want the cells to show the Value?
