Default =COUNTIF How to if 2 or more arguments???

Peo & Bob, Thanks for your help previously.

The only thing not covered was if there are multiple arguments (say a
combination of text & or numbers). I tried this:

=COUNTIF(Listing!I2:I420,"EXE","000")

and keep getting:

"You've entered too many arguments for this function."

Try

=SUMPRODUCT(--(Listing!I2:I420={"EXE","000"}))
