Default Conditional Formatting - new data

Excel 2007

I have multiple conditional formatting schemes set up for worksheet. When I
paste new data into the sheet, how do I apply the formatting? It disappears
when I paste and the only way I can apply it is to re-select the ranges.
What am I missing?

Ok. Found the problem. Deleted previous rows and added new data. CF
formula reflects the gap of the deleted rows. Is there a way to lock the
condition ranges? I suppose I could just highlight cells and delete but
there is a lot of data.
