One way:
Make a list of regions, say in column D: D1: header D2: 1 D3: 2 D4: 3 Select D2:D4 Formatting/Conditional formatting, Enter this formula: =SUMPRODUCT(--($B$2:$B$12="A"),--($C$2:$C$1210),--($A$2:$A$12=E2))0 Adjust ranges to the real data! Choose a format! Regions meeting the criteria will be highlighted. Regards, Stefi ezt *rta: I am trying to count the number of occurances of two critera happening but none of the results listed are helping. example of what I am trying to do: Region Product Sales 1 A 10 1 B 101 1 C 19 1 D 10 2 A 15 2 B 5 2 C 10 2 D 3 3 A 100 3 B 10 3 C 7 Fine the numer of regions that have sales of greater than 10 sales for product A My limited understanding of excel leaves means I cannot solve it. ANy help gratefully accepted |
