Default Searching for data and placing in new worksheet

Is there any method by which, on a large spreadsheet being used as a
database, I can search for repeating data, take that data and place in a new
worksheet. I have tried advanced filters and pivot tables but this does not
seem to be the most elegant solution. Because it is a large
database/worksheet, pivot tables become unworkable
