Default aligning text

Under format cells/alignment, I have seen the option to horizontally align
text to "Centre across Selection" (the text is also wrapped across this
selection). Is there any way to wrap text and align to the left across
selection.

Thanks

Default aligning text

1. Merge the cells
2. Align left
3. Manually adjust row height to give best results

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I cant merge the cells. Is there another way
to do this?

Can you insert a Text box, size it to the correct area, and put your text in
there?

If you add an Alt + Enter to create a linefeed in the cell, the center across
and wrap text will work together.

i.e. this is a long line of text <Alt + Enter this is another line of text
<Alt + Enter<Enter
