Default Sum is positive value or "0" value. Negative value equals "0"

I have a doc where I would like to use a formula that would subtract an
amount from an amount in another cell, but when it reached the value of 0 it
would stop. [i.e. 10-6=4, 10-12=0]. I have not found a way to do it, used
"IF" I don't want a word answer.

Thank you for your help.
