Default Choosing a date

Is there a way in Excel to fill a cell with a date by
choosing from some type of calendar setup? If you wanted
to choose Jan 5 2005 you could click on a pop-up that
would let you choose the 5th, or would this take more
programming, than functions?

Thanks

Dawn,

There is a Microsoft Calendar Control that can be embedded into Sheets and
perform the way you desire with minimal code.
